About Country Physio
Country Physio is run by Chartered Physiotherapist Samantha Rodwell, MCSP Cat A ACPAT, RAMP. After training and qualifying to become a physiotherapist in the NHS, Sam went on to gain a veterinary physiotherapy qualification from the Royal Veterinary College and become a category A member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT). She worked in the NHS across a number of specialties for six years, before following her dream and launching a successful private practice caring for both people and animals in 2006.
Country Physio covers work across the East Midlands and East Anglia.
Country Physio is dedicated to helping clients achieve optimum physical wellbeing and provides services for a wide range of clients including athletes, people recovering from accidents or illness, and animals with a particular focus on horses and dogs. They also specialises in treating horse and rider partnerships, and has a wide range of equine clients from happy hackers to horses and riders competing across the disciplines of racing, eventing and Le Trec.
Sam is a keen horsewoman herself, having ridden since a small child and competed up to novice level in eventing. She currently enjoys hunting and riding club activities with her horses Toff and Lad. She also has 5 dogs – 4 spaniels and a terrier who keep her on her toes.
